2025 I Can Rites of Passage Program
Resilience Road:Journey to South Africa
We invite you to participate in our "I Can Rites of Passage" program, a transformative experience designed for young adults aged 16 to 24. Our intensive 16-week course, starting on October 5th, 2025, offers a unique journey of self-discovery and personal growth. Participants will delve into essential topics such as self-awareness, financial literacy, and healthy living, all while emphasizing holistic development for mental and physical well-being.
Following a truly transformative experience for the 18 individuals who recently traveled to Senegal, we are excited to announce next year's journey to South Africa. This trip will follow a similar 16-week course format, culminating in a 12-day self-discovery adventure. South Africa is not just a destination; it embodies lessons in resilience and overcoming challenges. Participants will have the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of Nelson Mandela, who endured 27 years of unjust imprisonment before becoming the first Black president of South Africa in 1994. His inspiring story of perseverance and triumph highlights the power of resilience and the human spirit in overcoming adversity.
Registration is now open for the 2025 Resilience Road: Journey to South Africa trip! While we do not provide fundraising opportunities, youth are encouraged to fundraise independently to support their participation in this life-changing journey.
